The EOU Community Symphonic Band is an inter-generational band that rehearses weekly for fall, winter, and spring concerts. Admission is free to these concerts, but donations are always appreciated.
The band provides large ensemble experiences for students from small schools and is sponsored by the Community School for the Arts in partnership with ArtsEast and Eastern Oregon University. There is a $20 application fee to join. All experience levels are welcome!

About the Director:
The EOU Community Symphonic Band director, Dr. Teun Fetz, has performed and studied with some of the finest wind and symphonic band conductors in the United States including: The University of Oregon Community Symphonic Band, directed by Robert Ponto; The University of Michigan Symphony Band directed by H. Robert Reynolds; The University of Illinois Wind Symphony directed by James Keene, and the United States Air force “Band of Mid-America” in suburban St. Louis, under the direction of Colonel Steven Grimo.
