ArtsEast Gallery

Vessel by Glennis Phillips

The gallery at ArtsEast exhibits artwork by emerging and established professional artists in eastern Oregon. The gallery hosts Opening Receptions where the public is invited to meet with the artists. Most artwork exhibited is for sale, with the gallery taking 30% commission. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.

The works for the show are typically submitted by the artist (i.e., artist answering a ‘call for entry’), though occasionally works are juried into an exhibition.

Every other year, the gallery sponsors the juried “Artists of Eastern Oregon Show” where works by eastern Oregon artists are selected. Recipients of the “Honored Artist” award are then invited to exhibit their work in a group show the following year. Professional development workshops are specifically designed for artists but open to anyone interested and are held in conjunction with the “Artists of Eastern Oregon Show.”

ArtsEast Gallery does not carry “exclusive” contracts with artists. The gallery’s goal is two-fold: to offer a venue for emerging and established artists to exhibit and sell their work and to expose the public to a variety of art forms created by local and regional artists. If you would like your work to be considered for an exhibition, please contact ArtsEast.
